Agastya Nandas Debut Film Ikkis Set for Oct 2 Release :

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda’s debut film “Ikkis” will hit the screens on October 2, according to a statement released by production house Maddock Films on Saturday. Dinesh Vijan & Maddock Films Present #Ikkis—A True Story of a Brave Soldier and Son, Arun Khetarpal The Youngest Param Vir Chakra Awardee of India. The filmmakers announced on Instagram, accompanying a teaser clip.” Arriving at cinemas globally on October 2, 2025. the cast also featuring Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sikandar Kher and Akshay Kumar’s niece Simar Bhatia.

The film follows the extraordinary life of Arun Khetarpal, the Battle of Basantar Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 and posthumous recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. Announced in 2019 on Arun Khetrpal's 69th birth anniversary, the film originally starred Varun Dhawan. But the pandemic stalled things with Dhawan leaving due to date clashes. Agastya’s elder sister, Navya Naveli Nanda, congratulated her brother on Instagram after the news broke. Her post read, "21 years old. One destiny. A nation behind him. Jai Hind." Ikkis is the biggest project of Agastya Pvt, the company founded by Agastya that co-produced the 2023 Netflix teen musical comedy The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar.
