Kantara: Chapter 1 is not the only issue the team had to deal with throughout its production. A bus carrying junior artistes had met with an accident earlier, near Kollur but thankfully there were no casualties then. Furthermore, an expensive and big set was destroyed by unanticipated weather. The team has also been criticized by the forest department for disturbing the ecosystem during filming. Kantara 1 After successful 2022 run, the staff announced on a prequel of it. Despite recent rumors about a delay, the producers reassured fans on Instagram that — the release date still is October 2, 2025.

And now, as per latest reports the final schedule of shooting of Kantara: Chapter 1 is all to set to start soon Rishab Shetty. The present shooting location is about 20 km from Kundapur, Karnataka. We have no further plot and production details just yet. It was earlier reported that the team is prepping for a massive war sequence and had roped in national and international experts for the same. To stage the action scenes, the film has brought in more than 500 trained fighters for a massive battle sequence with some 3,000 extras making it one of the biggest action set pieces in Indian movies.
