Kamal Haasan Opens Up on Marriage Life and Thug Life :
Fame is something Kamal Haasan, the superstar actor/director, has been accustomed to for a major portion of his life. He was a child actor / child artist in 25 films. His personal life, which has included two marriages and two daughters, has been well publicized. He was earlier married to Vani Ganapathy , before his marriage with Sarika. At a post event briefing for his forthcoming movie "Thug Life" with leading stars Trisha and Silambarasan TR & Mani Ratnam, Haasan said, "Maybe tomorrow we may have to do that, but it sadguests like you have to run-up for information." When implementing him about for her marriage, Trisha said that she is fine with both getting married or not.
When asked about with his opinions on marriage, Haasan harks back to an interview with MP John Brittas (who was a journalist at the time). Bhrittas formally inquired as to why Haasan, person from a well-established and decent Brahmin household, had to marry twice. Haasan questioned the connection between family reputation and marriage.
Brittas asked what he had to say about those who trimmed or had more than one wife, Haasan, an atheist, countered that he neither worshipped any god nor followed the example set by Rama. Instead, he connected this with a joke, that it was clear he was following in the footsteps of Rama’s father Dasharatha, who had three wives. Rama was Kaushalya's firstborn while his other two brothers were Dasharatha's second wife Sumitra's sons Lakshmana and Shatrughna. His half brothers were born of Kaikeyi, Bharata and the twins Lava and Kusha. "Thug Life" with Kamal Haasan will be released on June 5.
