Kamal Haasan's upcoming film "Thug Life" trailer, which was released recently, has garnered mixed responses from the audience on the internet. While several fans were glad to see Haasan and director Mani Ratnam in action again, others felt un-easy with intimate scenes, including that between a 70-year-old Haasan and his two heroines. One of the Reddit users has posted a few visuals from the trailer to reveals the chaste romantic angles between Haasan and his pair ups Trisha Krishnan and Abhirami. Netizens sharing mixed comments in which the focus was on the huge age difference between Haasan and his heroines- both of whom are 42.

“Thug Life”, directed by Mani Ratnam, features Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan in the lead. The story centers on a gangster who mentors a young boy in the criminal world. Over the years, the boy played by Silambarasan becomes a dependable youngster. The trailer jumps over a few decades and the end result looks like some dark, hardcore crime drama. The movie stars a mega ensemble cast that includes Trisha Krishnan, Sanya Malhotra, Abhirami, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Nassar, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Rohit Saraf, and Vaiyapuri among others. Thug Life is the first project directed by Mani Ratnam and acted by Kamal Haasan after Nayagan (1987). The film will be released in theaters on June 5.
