And last year, celebrity Ravi Mohan's split from Aarti had hogged the headlines. Rumours were circulating at the time of a romance blossoming between the 70-year-old reggae star and singer and spiritual healer Kenishaa Francis, but the pair denied they were more than just friends. Ravi Mohan recently attended a wedding of producer Ishari Ganesh’s daughter in Chennai on Friday along with Kenishaa Francis. The two made a appearance together, which again has the rumor mill churning about their relationship. Making things even more mysterious, the bride and groom both sported gold: Ravi wore a shirt and dhoti, while Kenishaa wore a gold saree.

In Sepder 2024, Aarti and Ravi Mohan had a public spat, through social media after announcing their separation. The actor said in his statement, “We already had undergone separation, but I didn’t want to talk about it — thinking what will I tell and what will I not — there are so many thoughts that cloud you and you would not take a decision; but where the mindset is, it just happens.” He added, “After a lot of thinking, I reached this conclusion.” “After much thought and deliberation, Aarti and I have decided to part ways. “This decision was not made hastily and I have made it for a number of personal reasons that I think are best for everyone.” Aarti replied instantly, denying the claim and adding it was agreed "without her consent".

After the online argument, Kenishaa, in an interview, rubbished the affair rumours between her and Ravi. She mentioned that they were professional relationship, since she was his therapist. Reacting to the allegations, Kenishaa told India Today, "No physicality has happened; we both know our limits. I made myself, and my family is dead.” The singer also took a dig at Ravi's personal problems, saying, "As a therapist I can say that the kind of mental discomfort Jayam Ravi's family had caused him can be more painful than losing his parents." Kenishaa went on to lash out at Aarti and her family, saying, “No one should be subjected to this sort of abuse, be it a man or a woman and I do have all the evidences with or without Ravi’s consent in court… Data from my therapy sessions for one.” Aarti and Ravi Mohan were married in the year 2009, and they have two sons named Aarav and Ayaan.
