Samantha Turns Producer with Shubham Out on May 9 :

Indian actress Samantha is producing a film for the first time, and the film is in production under her new banner Tralala Moving Pictures. The movie, titled Shubham, helmed by Praveen Kandregula and will hit screens worldwide on May 9. Samantha chatted about the movie, her role as a first-time producer and the challenges both financially and when it comes to scheduling a movie production, during a recent press day. Despite being a talented actress, Samantha has confessed that producing has been an eye-opener for her. Samantha stated that her reason to start producing was to help new comers out in the industry like herself, as Gautham Menon gave her a break as a new comer. She pointed out that Shubham introduces new actresses Shreya, Shrāvani and Shalini and praised them for their commitment. She called the Vasanth's story as a satire of the television serial industry and was confident about the success with the audience. She stressed that the budget was as per the demand of the story and not unnecessarily lavish. Bankrolled by M Srinivas Reddy and K Rajeshwari, Shubham will release on May 9 and Samantha promoted the film as a film for the entire family and asked the audience to extend their support. She finished off by saying that she believed she would carry forward the learning to her future projects.
